I further agree I should wish to continue my membership, to pay the appropriate subscription fee promptly in January of each year. I UNDERSTAND THAT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE CLUB FACILTIES UNTIL THE COMMITTEE HAS APPROVED THIS APPLICATION. Once approved the management commitee reserve the right to withdraw membership if they consider my behaviour is not conducive to the standard that are expected of a club member. The TENTERDEN CLUB COMMITTEE will only accept this application if accompanied by appropriate combined Annual Subscription & Joining Fee. (Fully refundable if applicant is not accepted for membership) Applicants will be notified of the Committee decision within a period not exceeding 6 weeks from date of application. All information given on this form is for membership records only, will be treated with strictest of confidence, and will not be made available to any third party for any reason whatsoever.

The possession of illegal drugs [as defined by The Misuse of Drugs Act 1971] is a criminal offence and as such is viewed very seriously by the Committee of The Tenterden Club Ltd. Any Member seen using or supplying illegal substances will be banned from the Club with immediate effect along with the Proposer and Seconder of his/her membership.

THE TENTERDEN CLUB BYLAWS

1. CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SIT AT THE BAR.
2. SHIRTS TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES – NO VESTS ARE PERMITTED.
3. ONLY SPORTING EVENTS ARE TO BE SHOWN ON THE TELEVISIONS.
4. ANY PERSON FOUND TO BE TAKING/ SUPPLYING ILLEGAL DRUGS WILL BE EXPELLED FROM THE
CLUB.
5. ANY PERSON UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRINK OR ILLEGAL DRUGS AND CAUSING A NUISANCE TO
OTHER MEMBERS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND BROUGHT BEFORE THE COMMITTEE.
6. ONLY DRINKS PURCHASED AT THE BAR CAN BE CONSUMED ON THE PREMISES.
7. NO FOOD INCLUDING CRISPS NUTS ETC ARE ALLOWED IN THE SNOOKER ROOM.
8. ALL MEMBERS GUESTS ARE TO BE SIGNED IN THE VISITORS BOOK. GUESTS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY
OF THE MEMBER SIGNING THEM IN WHILE IN THE CLUB.
9. ALL MEMBERS MUST CARRY THEIR MEMBERSHIP CARDS AT ALL TIMES WHEN VISITING THE CLUB.

10. NEWLY ENROLLED MEMBERS CANNOT SIGN IN GUESTS, OR PROPOSE NEW MEMBERS UNTIL THEY
HAVE BEEN A CLUB MEMBER FOR ONE YEAR.
11. NEW MEMBERS MUST WAIT FOR THEIR APPLICATION FORM TO BE APPROVED BEFORE USING THE
CLUBS FACILITIES.
12. COMMITTEE MEMBERS WHO MISS 3 OR MORE CONSECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETINGS WITHOUT
NOTIFICATION TO THE SECRETARY, CAN NO LONGER BE CONSIDERED TO SIT ON ANY COMMITTEEES
IN THE FUTURE, AS THEY WILL BE CONSIDERED UNRELIABLE. THIS WOULD ALSO MEAN THAT NO
OTHER POSITION WITHIN THE CLUB, WOULD BE AVAILABLE TO THIS MEMBER.
13. ALL NOTICES ON THE BOARD MUST BE SIGNED BY THE SECRETARY.

14. NO HOT FOOD IS TO BE CONSUMED AT THE BAR.

These by-laws operate in conjunction with The Club Rules.
